The doctorate & postdoctorate call for projects

The “Agroecology and Digital Technology” research program will offer funding for four to six thesis and postdoctoral contracts each year from 2023 to 2027, for a period of three years for theses and two years for postdoctoral contracts.

The 2026 call for proposals for funding doctoral and postdoctoral research will remain open until May 28, 2026.

  • This call for proposals aims to fund doctoral or postdoctoral research contracts on original, multidisciplinary, and exploratory topics, to begin as early as fall 2026.
  • Applicants must be co-supervised by two scientists working in distinct communities within digital science and technology and the sciences associated with agroecology.

The call for proposals for funding for theses and postdoctoral contracts was open from March to May 2025. After reviews and interviews, the jury, made up of the PEPR scientific council, selected four thesis projects and one postdoctoral project.

The call for projects to fund doctoral theses and postdoctoral contracts was open from March to May 2024. During this first round, the 25 submitted applications were of excellent quality, and after reviews and interviews, the scientific council selected 3 thesis projects and 3 postdoctoral projects. The Agroecology and Digital Research Programme will offer funding each year from 2023 to 2027 for 6 thesis and postdoctoral contracts, with a duration of 3 years for the theses and 2 years for the postdoctoral contracts

The Agroecology and Digital technology research programme will offer annual funding for up to six doctoral and postdoctoral contracts from 2023 to 2027. Doctoral contracts will have a duration of 3 years, while postdoctoral contracts will have a duration of 2 years.
